Construction Closeout Coordinator

Job Description:
The primary responsibility of the Construction Closeout Coordinator will be to manage the punch, closeout and warranty processes of GCHP construction projects.
*Ensure punch list is properly developed and closed out in accordance with contract requirements
*Ensure comprehensive closeout documentation is received from contractors and properly archived in GCHP files and provided in correct formats to end users
*Communicate GCHP’s warranty process to the project team and coordinate all communications pursuant to each warranty issue including confirmation of resolution. Maintain log of all issues and their status throughout warranty period and coordinate with project team to conduct all end-of-warranty-period walks.

Skills Required
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (preferred), or equivalent experience.
Experience:
2–5+ years of experience in construction, development, or project management support.
Knowledge of construction documents, scheduling, estimating, and contract administration.
Familiarity construction management related software and proficiency with MS Office applications.
Understanding of AIA contracts, permitting, and construction processes.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read plans/specifications and manage multiple projects simultaneously
PREFERRED SKILLS
Experience with multifamily, affordable housing, healthcare, or commercial development.
Knowledge of HUD, LIHTC, Section 3, or public funding compliance (if applicable).
Cost estimating or budget management experience.
