ML170 Laying the Foundation for Fundraising

This course introduces you to the essential principles and practices of nonprofit fundraising. You’ll explore the three-stage model of resource development—preparation and planning, cultivation and asking, and sustaining and thriving. You’ll also learn how to build a culture of philanthropy within your organization and engage stakeholders in supporting your mission. Through practical tools and real-world examples, you’ll leave with a clear understanding of how to create a fund development plan that aligns with your organization’s goals.
