LE250 Community-Based Residential Lending - Outreach, Intake, and Loan Application Best Practices

Designed for nonprofit and community-based Mortgage Loan Originators, this course covers outreach, intake, and application best practices in residential lending. Participants will examine industry structure, origination channels, and regulatory requirements, while learning to develop and manage personal business production plans. The curriculum includes strategies for building referral relationships, leveraging technology, and ensuring compliance in intake and application processes. Through case studies and group discussions, participants will practice conducting efficient, compliant loan interviews, analyzing borrower documents, and preparing disclosures.
