Group Learning

Convenient, cost-effective and personalized skill-building for your staff and partners

NeighborWorks America provides professionals from nonprofits, government offices, coalitions, and community development organizations a convenient way to access professional growth opportunities, navigate shared challenges and achieve learning goals together.  Because when you and your colleagues and partners learn together, you all gain the latest knowledge, skills, and tools to make a leveraged impact in your community.

Our group learning service allows you to:

  • Create customized training. Select from our vast catalog of courses and certification programs to create your own learning experience and address your community’s unique needs. In-class interaction multiplies the learning impact by allowing you to focus on your community. And even better – you can build a truly flexible in-person/online learning experience across multiple courses.
  • Multiply your capacity. Invite a classroom full of colleagues, partners, and community leaders to learn with you and you not only increase your learning – you also create a venue for strengthening relationships.
  • Effectively leverage your training budget. Save money by reducing travel expenses and registration fees for multiple learners; and if you like, share the costs with peer organizations.
  • Maximize participation. Flexibility in scheduling allows you to control when and where the training will take place – so you can work your learning around your actual work!
  • Enhanced skill-building. Our curriculum is developed collaboratively by training institute staff, expert community development practitioners, and thought leaders in the field. Combined with valuable peer learning and best-practice sharing facilitated by a group learning environment, our course content is unmatched.
